Jackie Robinson MAKE CONNECTIONS

This story is about how Jackie Robinson became a famous baseball player and how he overcame racial acts in his lifetime. When Jackie was a young boy he didn't know much, but he was in a gang until he knew what he wanted to do with his life. So he started to hit the books and he began to go to school and do what he needed to do to become a professional baseball player. Over the years he started to get into the game and do what he did, but that was until the racial actions came he was called the "n" word and all other stuff and people started to say that he does not belong here at his games. Overall he was starting to get the fans come to his side after all the years he was treated like dirt. And after all of this still today he is the best baseball player of all time.
RIP JACKIE ROBINSON
Jan 31,1919-Oct 24,1972

This reminds me of the movie 42 because it was based on a true story about Jackie Robinson and it showed in eyes how he was treated back when he was playing baseball. Also, it shows how he was the best there was, the best there is and the best there ever will be in NBL history.

NASCAR Behind the Wheel and Behind the Scenes MAKE CONNECTION

This story is about how nascar began and how it continues to live on till this very day. Nascar was created by a man named Bill France and he was named the president for making creating nascar. The first race in history for nascar was February 15, 1948 on the beach in Daytona. Richard Petty was known for many things being, but mostly known for being the King of Nascar. He ruled for 30 years in stock car racing and he won 200 races in his career.

This reminds me of a movie i seen not to long ago about how races were popular and how the Nascar race was started. Also, this reminds me of how you should never quit even though i didn't put it in my blog.
